Do we use chemicals on car seats and prams?
No! Using chemicals on car seats and prams can effect the integrity of the safety restraints. Steam based cleaning is utilized to ensure a thorough clean and sanitize.

How do we clean car seats safely and effectively?
Starting by taking off the soft components of the car seats and prams, we separate the hardware. This allows for two separate cleaning methods to suit the different types of materials. After cleaning and drying, the car seats and prams are carefully pieced back together before returning to you!

How long does it take to clean a car seat or pram?
The usual turn around time for a car seat or pram is 3 hours. This can vary due to different weather affecting drying times and your distance from Aubin Grove. In summer, it can be as fast as 2 hours and in winter, it can take the best part of a day to ensure every component is thoroughly dry to prevent mold forming.

Is there any aftercare involved after a pram or car seat clean?
It is recommended to leave your pram unfolded in a place with plenty of airflow for at least 24 hours to ensure it is completely dry. It is recommended to leave car window cracks ajar overnight if possible to ensure airflow in vehicles after a car seat clean.

Is the car seat fitted after a clean?
Yes. Everyone who works at Caity’s Carseat Cleaning is required to complete the KidSafe 52862WA Course in Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitting. This means that we are fully qualified to professionally remove and install your child’s car seat.

Why isn’t there a time estimate on an interior detail?
A time estimate for an interior detail varies from car to car. It’s hard to give an estimate when each interior is in a different condition. Some cars take an hour, others can take 4 hours.
